How our work creates lasting impact
- Build Capacity
- Adds a working farm and a community cooking space to our existing food rescue program — strengthening the systems, tools and training behind how we address food insecurity.
- New Ideas and Programs
- The community cooking space is a genuinely new offering: structured cooking sessions that turn rescued and farm-grown produce into meals, building confidence and skills alongside food access.
- Scaling Proven Models
- Our food rescue program already works. This project scales it — adding a steady, self-grown supply and a higher-value use for the produce we already collect.
- Organisational Sustainability
- A hybrid membership model (cash or volunteer hours) plus in-kind land access keeps the farm and kitchen self-sustaining for the long term.
