Grow, Gather & Cook

Building a sustainable community farm, food rescue and cooking program — so fresh, healthy food is accessible to everyone and waste becomes opportunity.

Our mission

“To create a community where fresh, healthy food is accessible to everyone, waste is transformed into opportunity, and people are empowered to be part of the solution.”

Through sustainable farming, food rescue and shared cooking, we grow, gather, cook and share nutritious food while building a stronger, more connected community.

Three connected pillars

One complete community food system

Food rescue, already running
Rescue

Food rescue, already running

We collect excess fresh produce from local supermarkets and redistribute it to community members, preventing thousands of kilos of good food going to landfill.

Acres of secured farmland
Grow

Acres of secured farmland

We have secured access to acres of fertile land at no cost, ready to be developed into a productive community farm supplying chemical-free produce year-round.

A community cooking space
Cook

A community cooking space

A shared kitchen where members turn rescued and farm-grown produce into meals — guided sessions plus open kitchen hours, building skills and confidence.

Gracie’s Weekly

Produce boxes, packed by the community

Produce from the farm and food rescue supplies our membership program, “Gracie’s Weekly”. Members join for $50 a month, or by contributing volunteer hours in the farm, garden, kitchen, packing hub or food rescue program — so cost is never a barrier to fresh food.

  • 60+ households receiving fresh produce weekly within 12 months
  • 50% increase in rescued food distributed locally
  • Weekly cooking sessions reaching 30+ participants a month
  • 300+ volunteer hours contributed annually
